Selected projects we can talk about.

A few examples from a wider body of work for TSOs, DNOs, developers and OEMs. Most client work is confidential, so we name a client only when the work is already public.

Power-system modelling partner to ET Fuels.

We are doing all of the PSCAD and PowerFactory work for ET Fuels’ first-mover e-methanol project on the US Gulf Coast, which also includes an eSAF (methanol-to-jet) route. The project is in FEED.

Generator EMT model, checked against site measurements

For a synchronous generation plant we built a full EMT model in PSCAD, covering the machine, excitation, stabiliser and protection. We compared it first with PowerFactory, then with measurements from the real units.

40 MW battery: SSO screening and NESO compliance

A battery plant connecting in Great Britain had to show NESO that it was stable and rode through faults. We produced all of the evidence from one PSCAD model.

Network reduction for EMT studies

Wide-area RMS models are too big to convert to EMT as they are. Our toolkit cleans and reduces them, then places the study boundary where the reduced model’s impedance scan matches the full network.

SAGE: a smart agent for grid reinforcement

A QMerse workflow around PowerFactory and Python. Agents plan the study, run it, rank the reinforcement options, screen compliance and draft the report. An engineer signs off every step.

Stability services from below 132 kV

Plant below 132 kV could supply inertia, system strength and damping, but it has never been qualified to. We are building the evidence, the model and a scorecard a transmission operator can buy against.
